NEUES LIED FESTIVAL “Neues Lied” is a festival for art song – with a special focus on contemporary art song – established in Würzburg, Germany in 2018. This year, the festival will take place for the first time in Cape Town, featuring international and South African artists. The programme will include master classes, a competition for singers and pianists from the SACM, and several concerts, including a portrait concert of composer Hendrik Hofmeyr.
