In the conservative environment of Namaqualand, two soon to be sisters-in-law try to figure out what their purpose as women in life is. Anna, married to Ouboet-Gert for 10 years, falls in love with her brother-in-law’s girlfriend Emma, who is on the farm Besondersmeid without Klein-Johnetjie. A romantic drama in which the characters are faced with lonesomeness, a yearning for love and meaningful relationships.
