This course is an introduction to acting for people who have no previous experience, or for people who want to practise and hone their existing skills. Students meet over 12 classes on a Saturday morning from 9:00 to 12:00, from 11 May – 04 August 2024.

Students explore acting concepts of character, relationship, objective and environment, through the selection and rehearsal of a monologue, which they perform for a public audience at the end of the cycle.

This course is informed by the fact that acting is a psychophysical activity. Hence, the training focuses on psychophysical exercises that seek to make the students sensitive to the connection of the body and the mind.

Students explore acting concepts around character, relationship, objective and environment, through the selection and rehearsal of a monologue, which they perform for a public audience at the end of the cycle. Students must attend all classes to complete the course.
