"The Blood Sun" is based on an isiXhosa tale, devised by the cast and crew under the direction of Mr Richard Sibeko and produced by the Girls' College Dramatic Arts Department. The heartfelt story of Nongqawuse is told through African Storytelling, music, and physical theatre. Come and enjoy theatre for the whole family. Please note: we recommend a 10+ age restriction, with parental guidance advised. This is due to the cultural portrayal of certain traditions that young children may find difficult to witness.
