Race Rules
1. Race under the rules of WA (IAAF), ASA and ATRA. All foreign athletes must
abide by WA (IAAF) rules 4.2, 22.1 and 142 ASA rule 9.
2. Age restriction:
10 km: The participant must be 14 years or older on race day.
3. Athletes are responsible for their own accommodation
4. ASA/ATRA-approved age tags to be worn on the upper front and back of the vest/crop
top, to be eligible for age-category prizes.
5. The race number must be worn over the permanent license number on the front of
the upper body clothing and be placed so that the ASA province year remains visible
above the race number (ASA Rule 26.1) Temporary license athletes must wear the
race number on the front upper body clothing.
6. The 2024 license number must be worn on the back and front of the vest.
7. Race numbers and license numbers must not be worn on shorts/tights.
8. Temporary license must be worn on back of vest and the completed tear-off slip
must be lodged with the organisers at the end of the race.
9. Cut-off times:
10 km: 2hrs
5km:1hr
11. Disqualified athletes will not be eligible for any incentives/ prizes
12. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL MONEY WILL BE PAID VIA EFT. NO PRIZE MONEY WILL
BE HANDED OUT ON THE DAY AT PRIZE GIVING. ALL WINNERS MUST ENSURE
THAT THEY PROVIDE THE CORRECT BANKING DETAILS TO THE ORGANISERS AT PRIZE-GIVING. PRIZES WILL BE HANDED OVER AT 10:00 am
13. Proof of age may be required for age-category winners.
14. Participants must obey the race officials, marshals, and traffic officers.
15. Your entry fee will not be refunded if you do not participate.
16. Prize money is only for the race you have entered.
17. Watering points every 3km. No personal seconding is allowed. The stand
and hand rule within 100 metres of the watering points rule will apply.
18. No animals allowed on racecourse
19. The wearing of earphones or headsets is prohibited and will lead to
disqualification. Cellphones may be used on route for the
running app.
20. No queries will be attended on race day.
21. Please ensure that you check that your car is locked when walking away from it,
do not assume it is – remote jammers have been known to frequent such events.
22. Do not leave belongings in full view, rather lock them up in the boot so they are
out of sight.
