The Franschhoek Classic Car Festival will again transform the town into classic car heaven on 5&6 Oct. On Saturday an Alfa Romeo exhibition opens at Franschhoek Motor Museum. More than 150 cars will be on view. On Sunday, at the Huguenot Monument, the trademark ‘Forty of the Finest’ exhibit will feature 40 iconic pre-1995 cars from 40 different brands.


There will also be a Ford Mustang display, while several other car clubs – including Rolls Royce – will also put up displays. On Sunday morning, the ‘Rivals Tour Parade’ will pass down Franschhoek’s main road. This tour consists of classic cars from rival European manufacturers Alfa Romeo and Porsche.
