Now in its 22nd year, the Laura Searle Prize for Piano Concerto Playing showcases outstanding pianists from the South African College of Music. Open to all piano students, this competition celebrates excellence in concerto performance.

Finalists will perform concerto movements in front of a panel of adjudicators, competing for the opportunity to appear as a soloist with the UCT Symphony Orchestra in the following year. This concert offers an exciting glimpse into the next generation of young pianists.
