Our Nuwejaars Wetlands Wildlife Guided Tours are OPEN again. Close to Africa’s southernmost tip, this is the ONLY tour in the Overberg to provide wildlife experiences with big game like Buffalo and Hippo.

You’ll head into a secret wetland and lake expanse, where game, birds and plants flourish. This tour, ideal for photographers, is on private land, not usually open to the public. The Nuwejaars Wetlands Special Management Area is one of the largest private conservation ventures in the district.

The tours are hosted by our trained guide. We host 2 tours a day:
The Sunrise tour includes coffee/tea at our lookout point.
The Sunset tour includes a glass of cool-climate wine.
