“Yarona” is a phrase that translates to It is Ours – it is an annual community arts festival that is the brainchild of PACOFS. The festival is an exit opportunity aimed at creating a semi-professional artistic platform for Free State Based youth productions and these productions participate in the festival are from the Incubator Programme a DSAC’s Development initiative, that has been driven and implemented through various stakeholders and Playhouses nationally. PACOFS has been spearheading and implementing the Incubator Programme within the Free State, with the aim of producing multi-disciplined artists of various genres such as Drama, Music, and Dance, over several years.
