SANZAAR has confirmed that the second edition of The Rugby Championship Under 20 will take place in Gqeberha [formerly Port Elizabeth], in South Africa's Eastern Cape, from May 1 to 11. The Championship will see the latest generation of talent from Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa battle it out for southern hemisphere dominance.


The inaugural TRC U20 was a huge success. It took place on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia, in 2024, and New Zealand U20 won the title after remaining unbeaten. After a draw with South Africa in the first round, the NZ U20 team subsequently beat Argentina and Australia to pip the Junior Springboks for the title.
