JOIN US for an entertaining evening of storytelling spiced with songs with John Hardie (writer/narrator/baritone) and Juan Burgers (pianist).

John will tell the story of an idealistic wanderer, a certain Mr. Ponsonby, who has a strange dream, a premonition, that ushers in an expedition to the Democratic Republic of Congo, an adventure in which his life is irrevocably changed.

John will intersperse the story telling with famous songs and arias from Brahms, Schubert, Purcell, Faure, Ravel, Strauss and Michael Head, skillfully accompanied by pianist Juan Burgers.
