Looking for enriching winter school-break activities for kids?
Enroll your child (ages 7–15) in an exciting week-long art experience at Javett-UP! This holiday programme takes place inside a brand-new exhibition One and the Many, which groups amazing artworks to tell stories about how we as people connect with each other.
In this winter edition, children will focus on The Alter, one of the three sections of the Living School theme, where their creative journey begins on the Ground Floor Gallery. Their favourite Mapungubwe Gold Collection is also in the mix.

Through fun, hands-on activities, your child will explore their uniqueness, how they see the world, their sense of spirit, and the legacies they’re part of. It’s a week of inspiration, imagination, and self-discovery!
Mon: Introduction to arts and crafts
Tue: Alters and Origins (collage workshop)
Wed: Gold in the Ground (clay sculpturing activity)
Thurs: Becoming Worlds (sculpturing recyclable materials)
Fri: The Gathering (creative presentations)
The programme runs 9:00- 13:00 daily. Kids can be dropped at 8:30am.
