The High School Drama Festival provides learners with a valuable opportunity to express their creativity, social views, and personal stories through drama on a professional stage. It offers young performers the chance to experience the full magic of theatre—complete with professional lighting, sound, and a live audience—while developing confidence, teamwork, discipline, and stage etiquette.

Through this platform, learners gain first-hand exposure to the standards of the performing arts industry and are encouraged to think critically, collaborate, and grow both artistically and personally.
The festival also creates a space for dialogue and cultural exchange as schoolsfrom diverse communities come together to share their work.Running from 18 to 22 August at Artscape, the festival is a celebration of youth voices, talent,and creativity.
