Set against the war in Sarajevo, this is a story of three friends; Mirela, Aleksander and Slobo, bound by childhood, separated by war, torn by belief, fear, and duty. Through them, we witness how easily a friend becomes a stranger and how unspeakably hard it is to unmake that distance.
When Peter, a foreign photographer better known for his shots of brothels than battlefields, stumbles into their lives, the line between observer and participant begins to blur.
This play asks you to come closer, to hold your breath in silence and in that shared silence, to remember our shared humanity.
