The Waterfront Canal Challenge (WCC) is Africa’s only urban timed canal swim, held annually at Cape Town’s iconic V&A Waterfront.

This year’s theme, “Turning Tides into Tomorrow,” highlights the power of progress, purpose, and community. The event brings together swimmers, corporates, and local changemakers for a unique race through the scenic canals — promoting fitness, teamwork, and social impact.
