Join us on Wednesday, 12 November, for a unique screening of Cauleen Smith's 'Drylongso'. This intimate evening is a rare opportunity for local audiences to learn more about the artist’s earlier work in experimental cinema, ahead of the opening of her exhibition at Zeitz MOCAA. 'Drylongso' is Smith’s first feature film. It garnered acclaim at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival and, in 2023, received a 4K restoration and was re-released by the renowned Criterion Collection.

Hosted in partnership with the Cape Town-based art and music library and project space, Chimurenga; the screening will be introduced by curator, Thato Mogotsi followed by a Q&A with the artist.
