The 11th South African International Ballet Competition. The largest Ballet Competition in Africa returns to the Artscape from 14 – 17 July 2024, with competitors live on stage and online. With international judges and South African judges.

The International competition has three age groups:
-9 to 12 (Scholar)
-13 to 16 (Junior)
-17 to 22 (Senior)
in both Classical Ballet and Contemporary categories. The competition is also open to duets, trios and groups.

The SAIBC attracts dancers of the highest calibre from South Africa and across the globe and this year sees Jury members from China, Canada, South Korea, Switzerland, South Africa, Belgium, and America.
